In Microsoft Word and other word processors, pressing Ctrl + K inserts a hyperlink at the text cursor's current location.
On Apple computers, the shortcut to copy is the Command key+K keys. To use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+K, press and hold either Ctrl key on the keyboard and while continuing to hold, press the "K" key with either hand.
Control-K: Delete the text between the insertion point and the end of the line or paragraph.
One way to cut through Outlook's autocomplete clutter is to use the Ctrl-K keyboard shortcut to access the program's Check Names feature. Simply type the first few letters of the address you want to enter, and press Ctrl-K.
How to copy and paste text
- Find the text you want to copy and paste.
- Tap and hold on the text.
- Tap and drag the highlight handles to highlight all the text you want to copy and paste.
- Tap Copy in the menu that appears.
- Tap and hold in the space where you'd like to paste the text.
- Tap Paste in the menu that appears.
Cut and paste text on an Android smartphone and tablet
Press and hold down on any text with your finger and then let go. Upon letting go, a menu should appear on top-right of the screen (shown to the right) that allows you to cut. Highlight the text you want to cut and then press your finger on Cut to cut.
To cut text and move it to the clipboard, select the text and then do one of the following: Press CTRL+X. Press SHIFT+DELETE.
To move files, folders and selected text to another location. Cut removes the item from its current location and places it into the clipboard. Paste inserts the current clipboard contents into the new location.
Copy: After selecting one or more items using your mouse or keyboard, press Ctrl+C. The information will be copied to the clipboard. Cut: After selecting one or more items, press Ctrl+X, and the information will be copied to the clipboard and removed from the original location.
Alternatively referred to as Control+N, ^n, and C-n, Ctrl+N is a keyboard shortcut most often used to create a new document, window, workbook, or other type of file.
Ctrl + L. Aligns the line or selected text to the left of the screen.
Android: Tap and hold the text you're entering in the text field, then choose Bold, Italic, or More . Tap More to choose Strikethrough or Monospace. iPhone: Tap the text you're entering in the text field > Select or Select All > B_I_U. Then, choose Bold, Italic, Strikethrough, or Monospace.
In the keyboard the symbol Tilde is not there, but you can type it using a combination of keyboard buttons. Press and hold the button OTHER and type 126 from the numeric keypad. This way you can easily type the symbol into any WhatsApp conversation.
Choose Edit > Copy. Paste the copied step(s) into a different visual test by opening that visual test in which you want to paste the copied steps. To move the selected step(s) instead of copying them, choose Edit > Cut. Select the test step that you want the copied steps to appear after.
Press Ctrl+A on your keyboard to select all text in the document.
