Select the layer you want to copy styles from, then choose Edit > Copy > Copy Style (or press ⌘ ⌥ C ). Then select the layer you want to paste those styles to and choose Edit > Paste > Paste Style (or press ⌘ ⌥ V ).
Click Edit, Copy, or press Ctrl+C. Click in the sketch or document where you want to paste the center of the sketch. Click Edit, Paste, or press Ctrl+V.
After selecting the desired sketch geometry there are three ways to copy a sketch.
- Right-click in the canvas window and select “Copy” from the menu.
- Use the copy shortcut combo, CTRL + C (Windows) or CMD + C (Mac).
- Use the keyboard shortcut letter “M” to activate the “Move/Copy” feature.
Here's how to copy and paste in SketchUp:
- Using the Select Tool ( ) or the Lasso Select tool ( ), select the geometry you want to copy. ...
- Choose Edit > Copy from the menu bar or use a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+C for Windows, Command+C for macOS) to copy your selection.
Sketches can not be selected from the timeline or browser when using copy Ctrl C /paste Ctrl V even though the sketch does appear to be selected. How to Copy/paste sketch from the same sketch: Simply use Ctrl C and Ctrl V.
Activate Move and press Ctrl/Option. Click anywhere for the first move point—on a face, edge, or in blank space. Then click the second move point straight above the first move point, in the blue direction (Figure 1-12). SketchUp moves the selected objects by the distance and direction between the two move points.
Select Edit > Copy or press Ctrl+C (Microsoft Windows) or Command+C (Mac OS X) to copy the selected items to the clipboard without deleting the items from your LayOut document.
Touch the "Photos" menu item. Find "Sketches" in the list of apps and touch it. Touch the "Read and Write" option to allow photo access.
Cutting and pasting layers in SketchBook Pro Desktop
If you want to cut and paste content, use one of the selection tools and make your selection: Use the hotkey Ctrl+X (Win) or Command+X (Mac) to cut the content. Use the hotkey Ctrl+V (Win) or Command+V (Mac) to paste.
External Array. Open up SketchUp and select the item that you wish to copy. Click on the Move icon and start to move it. After you start to move it, press down on CTRL and move it to where you want the copy.
Copy the sketch entity within the same document or to different documents. Hold down Ctrl while dragging the sketch entity. To copy one or more sketch entities, select the entities, then click Edit > Copy or press Ctrl+C. Click in the graphics area, then click Edit > Paste or press Ctrl+V.
In the FeatureManager design tree, Ctrl + select or Shift + select the components to copy. Ctrl + drag the selected components and drop them in the graphics area. New instances of the components are created. Mates that exist between the selected components are retained between the new instances.
