Avoiding Sigurd Strikes (Good Ending)
- Leave the treasure. It may not be quintessentially Viking, but you have to leave the treasure behind during the Prologue if you want to gain a mite of good favor with Sigurd.
- Turn down Randvi. ...
- Take it easy. ...
- Respect your opponent. ...
- Support Sigurd's judgment.
If Eivor expresses they 'care for you as a friend' then Eivor will not be betraying Sigurd and is the only honorable choice in this interaction. If you want to romance Randvi at all, wait till the end of the game. You will be able to then without upsetting Sigurd.
If you end up getting three strikes from these, Sigurd will return to Norway at the end of the game. However, you can save this from happening if you only have three strikes by removing a strike in the final conversation with Sigurd. If you manage to make him change his mind, he will instead stay in England with you.
Remember that getting three strikes with Sigurd will cause him to leave England behind, giving players the worst ending. Now that you know how to complete all of Sigurd's strikes and get the best ending, head over to our Assassin's Creed Valhalla guide for even more Viking tips and info.
If you break up with Randvi after the first encounter, your actions won't count as a Sigurd Strike and nudge you towards the Good Ending. What's more, if you'd rather not betray Sigurd, all you have to do is wait for the story to progress as the couple will end up separating down the line (40 hours into the story).
I feel the same way – Eivor professes their feelings to Randvi, and they make love after a little more chatter. Sigurd will eventually find out about this, and that counts as a choice against him. If you make enough of these, it'll affect the ending of the story.
The original guide here warned about getting a bad ending due to romancing Randvi. This is certainly possible, but it is avoidable; players can romance Randvi and good a good ending. They can also steer clear of getting a strike.
Doing three or more of these will lead to Sigurd leaving for Norway but if you have only done one or two, you'll be fine and he'll stay in the settlement with you for good. Plus, he breaks up with Randvi so you're free to be in a relationship with her.
You must wait until they are separated to avoid impacting your loyalty with Sigurd. In mission Blood from a Stone, you must prevent yourself from punching Basim and Sigurd. In mission A Brewing Storm, give Dag his axe after you defeat him in battle to avoid impacting your loyalty with Sigurd.
Punching both Basim and Sigurd will lower your loyalty with Sigurd and affect the ending. If you choose not to punch Basim or Sigurd then your loyalty will stay the same.
Selecting 'Your place is here' results in the same outcome - Sigurd remains and Eivor becomes the jarl of Ravensthorpe (A Quiet Homecoming).
Eventually, though, Basim was revealed to be the bad guy all along who wanted revenge on Eivor for his past wrongs as Odin during the First Civilization. This evil scheme turned Basim into a hammy villain, also being too “out there” to fall in line with his characterization.
Well, Sigurd is also an Isu. In Eivor's Norse version of reality, he is the Isu known as Tyr, the Norse God of War, so all that talk of him being a god by the evil Order of the Ancients member Fulke was actually spot on.
How To Romance Randvi Without Betraying Sigurd. If you'd rather wait until near the end of the story to romance Randvi (thereby giving you the option to romance others such as Petra and Tarben in the meantime), you'll need to wait until Gunnar's wedding during The Forge and the Flame.
You can go back into the animus, as Basim playing Eivor, which is just weird.
The safest choice here is to pick I care for you as a friend. But if you have your heart set on romancing AC Valhalla Randvi, all is not lost. You will be able to hook up with her later on safely, after Sigurd and Randvi break up. This way, you won't upset Sigurd and risk the ending you'll get.
If you reciprocate her feelings, then it could potentially have a significant effect on the game's ending. To get the best conclusion to the story, you need to be on Sigurd's good side. While declaring your love for his wife doesn't automatically stop you from getting it, it certainly doesn't help.
Valhalla is set to expand on a feature first seen in Odyssey, the previous release in October 2018. Players will, again, be able to pursue a gluttony of romantic options throughout the game, with the chance to engage in Viking weddings a very real option.
How Adultery Plays Out With Randvi. Randvi is the greatest exception. In Assassin's Creed Valhalla, all story trails lead to Sigurd. This is ultimately a tale of two siblings, so players' choice in Assassin's Creed Valhalla to sleep with Sigurd's wife Randvi can actually affect which ending players receive.
Or is it Lork who doesn't quite agree with Rollo but is apparently loyal to his father? While neither of them appear to have a good excuse for hunting rabbits when there is already plenty or meat at the camp, it is actually Gerhild who is the traitor.
Basim Ibn ishaq is one of the two main antagonists in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla alongside Alfred the Great. He was a Master Assassin of the Hidden Ones branch located in Constantinople, known to the Norse as Miklagard.
Soma. Of all the people on this list, Soma is the most heartbreaking missed romance option. The entire Grantebridge quest is filled with long looks and subtly-flirty dialogue, suggesting a possible attraction. Also, when Soma writes Eivor, she talks about thinking of them fondly.
