After catching Arceus, return to the Temple of Sinnoh, and the Arc Phone will activate. It will give the option to choose between these three options, but they can all be done in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Both Dialga and Palkia will appear in their Origin Forms.
Dialga and Palkia from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl appear in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, and are actually two Legendaries that can be captured during the main story. There is a catch though. They're essentially the final bosses (story-wise at least) and encountered in the Temple of Sinnoh.
Along with Hisiuan forms in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, you will also encounter the Origin forms of Palkia and Dialga. These two legendary Pokemon make their appearance at the end of the main story, however, you will only get to see one Origin form. This is based on which clan leader you choose to help.
After completing the story, the Clan Leader will give you an item to transform the non-Origin Legendary Pokemon into its Origin form. That way, you can get both Origin Form Pokemon that are totally unique to Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
How to get Origin Forme Dialga in Pokemon Legends Arceus
- After completing Mission 19, head over to the Crimson Mirelands. ...
- Once in the Diamond Settlement, walk through the village and take the path leading up to Lake Valor to find Diamond Clan leader Adaman.
- Speak to Adaman to receive Request 89.
This time around, in Legends Arceus, you'll catch Giratina in the Origin Forme. As such, the item you need to make the switch from Origin to Altered Forme is the Griseous Core. Thankfully, you don't need to do any hunting to get the item.
Darkrai. If you have play records from the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond or Pokémon Shining Pearl games, you'll be able to take on a research request in Pokémon Legends: Arceus in which you'll have a chance to add the Mythical Pokémon Darkrai to your team.
What that means, if you don't know, is that you first need to catch every other Pokémon in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, including ultra powerful ones like Palika, Dialga, Regigigas, and more. The only ones that don't count are the Mythical Darkrai and Shaymin. This will total 242 Pokémon you need to add to your collection.
Is Darkrai in Pokemon Legends: Arceus? Yes, Darkrai can be caught in Pokemon Legends: Arceus after completing the main story. However, the player must have save data for Pokemon Brilliant Diamond or Shining Pearl on their profile in order to get it.
Palkia and Dialga are both able to be caught in Legends: Arceus. Of course, you will need to wait quite a while before you can get your hands on either of these legendary Pokémon.
Dialga Narrowly Beats Out Palkia In BDSP
Palkia's Water- and Dragon-typing is also quite strong, but Palkia is still weak to the overpowered Pokémon Fairy-type and Dragon moves, making it considerably more vulnerable than Dialga, with weaknesses of a typical Dragon-type.
Request 89: The Diamond Clans Treasure. You can only access this request once you've completed the main story. Once you've done so, you'll find Adaman on the northwest edge of Lake Valor, just northeast of Diamond Settlement in Crimson Mirelands. He'll challenge you to a battle!
Players must throw Mysterious Balms at Arceus while avoiding various attacks and occasionally engaging in turn-based combat. Once the final boss has been defeated, Trainers will be able to catch the Arceus, adding the Legendary Pokémon to their useable party.
Giratina, along with Dialga and Palkia, was created when Arceus hatched from its egg. Arceus tasked Giratina to create the universe alongside Dialga and Palkia. Giratina was known (other than Mewtwo) to be one of the most aggressive Pokémon.
By completing Requests 89 and 90, Trainers can switch Legendary Dialga and Palkia into their alternate Origin forms in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Choose Pearl Clan in the Main Story
Your choice between the two clans will dictate which Pokemon you'll be facing as the Final Boss. By choosing the Pearl Clan, you will fight alongside Palkia and face both the Origin and Standard Form of Dialga, a legendary Steel and Dragon type Pokemon.
Only the truly diligent Pokemon Trainers will unlock the ability to meet the Legendary Pokemon Arceus. Complete all of the Main Missions, through #26, Seeking the Remaining Plates. This will begin request #27 The Deified Pokemon.
But players can also catch five other starters from previous games on their journey, including the starters from Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl: Pikachu, Eevee, Turtwig, Piplup, and Chimchar. With this many starters available to you, you can round out your party in no time.
Gracidea flower field location in Pokemon Legends: Arceus
Shaymin can be found in a bed of Gracidea flowers in the northwestern corner of the Obsidian Fieldlands. Shaymin's location is in the northwest corner of the map.
Best to use Bug, Ghost, or Dark-type moves as these are super effective against the Psychic Legendary. Try to induce status conditions or bring the health down to yellow or blinking red. Then throw a Pokeball—we recommend at least a Great Ball or Ultra Ball—to capture Cresselia.
If Shaymin runs, simply reload into the Obsidian Fieldlands to make Shaymin automatically reappear in the Gardens. Once caught, Shaymin joins the party at level 70 and is number 241 in the Hisui Pokédex.
Though traditionally depicted as the god of death and the afterlife, Giratina is occasionally depicted as the god of war, famine, sickness, natural disasters, and severe misfortune, as these are often causes of death to many.
Giratina is a Ghost- and Dragon-type Pokemon and part of the Pokemon Legends: Arceus Hisui Pokedex.
